The industrial center of Lower Austria South (IZ NÖ Süd) is the largest industrial area in Austria with around 280 hectares. It mainly comprises the site of the former Ostmark aircraft engine works in the municipal areas of Wiener Neudorf, Biedermannsdorf, Guntramsdorf and Laxenburg. The IZ NÖ Süd is next to the Shopping City Süd one of the largest business locations in the south of Vienna and, like this one, is in the Mödling district.
